Dr. Keenan is a Board Certified Eye Surgeon and fellowship trained
Cornea Specialist. Dr. Keenan confines his practice exclusively
to refractive surgery/corneal consultations, and has performed
well over 12,000 LASIK procedures. Dr. Keenan received his medical
degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington,
D.C., and then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency
at The New York Hospital/ Cornell Medical center in Manhattan,
New York. Dr. Keenan served his cornea fellowship with the University
Ophthalmic Consultants of Washington, D.C. and also proudly
served as both Battalion and Regimental surgeon in the Second
Marine Division while he was a medical officer in the United
States Navy.
Dr. Keenan is considered one of the
leading and most experienced LASIK/refractive surgeons in the
country and has been performing LASIK since 1996. Dr. Keenan
is a member of the hospital staff at Lower Bucks Hospital and
the Wills Eye Surgery Center and has held academic positions
at the Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Keenan has authored
multiple articles/chapters in leading Ophthalmology journals
and textbooks and has been a featured guest on WPHT radio, The
Big Talker, here in Philadelphia.
